Golf Course History
Construction of the new Clubhouse.
These three pictures show the construction of a pond on hole #6 in 2000. This pond greatly challenges the player, especially from the champion men's tee box. A fountain was added in the fall of 2005 and makes this hole the signature hole on the course.
Total Fairway Watering was Installed in the Spring of 1999

This fountain was placed in the pond on hole #6.
Cart paths added or replaced in the Spring and Fall of 2005.
This shelter was constructed to protect the golfers from the elements.
New Yardage Markers Added in Aug. 2005.

Bridge repair completed in June 2005 with memorial funds donated by the Maury Wilson Family.
The two pictures above show the construction of a rental cart storage facility added in 2002.
Construction of the deck onto the original clubhouse. Deck was completed in April 2006
The block area and bench were built in memory of Bud Krohn and placed on the back tee box of Number 6. This was completed in the fall of 2010.
This bench was placed on #1 tee at the golf course in memory of Norman (Norm) Trede who was dedicated to the maintance of this golf course for many years.
The Mary Rhodes Memorial Trophy
This trophy was given to the Ladies Golf Association by the Floyd Rhodes Family in memory of Mary who died in June 2007.
Mary was our Club Champion 7 times and
had won the Club Championship more often then any other player in the history of the tournament. She reigned as Champion in '75, '76, '80, '87, '99, '01, and '02, a span of 4 decades. The Club Champion each year will have her name added to the trophy and it will
be permanently displayed in a prominent
place at the club house. The ladies wish to thank Floyd and his family for this special
gift in Mary's memory.
Wall of Fame
These are the plaques that survived the clubhouse fire. They depict the champions of the Men's and Women's Club Tournament as well as the champions of the Monday Night, Tuesday Night, and Nerd Herd Leagues.
This Flag and pole were donated in memory of Peggy Benson. It was put in place in the spring of 2014 in front of the club house. A very nice addition to the Club House.
