Avoca Country View Golf Course Announcement
Country View Golf Course and the City of Avoca will be offering the Golf Handicap and Information Network (GHIN) for golfers interested in taking advantage of this feature.
This is a golf handicap system that serves as representation of a golfer's ability allowing players of different skill levels to compete fairly with each other in leagues or other forms of competition.
By regularly posting scores, a golfer can monitor their handicap and see how they are improving their game.
If interested let Teresa or Susan at City Hall know (712-343-2424). There is a fee of $25.00 for this service.
There also has been some interest in starting a Senior Men's golf league. If anyone is interested in starting a "55 and Over" golf league contact Jim to get on the list.
